Do you live, breathe and bleed games? Newegg has an opportunity for you to be a Gaming Community Specialist. We are looking for the elite, the take-no-prisoners-and-kill-all-scrubs kind of elite. You must know games well and have played competitively in the gaming community. Preferred gaming experience are as follows (the more, the better): DotA (1 & 2) Warcraft (1 - 3 ) Starcraft (1 & 2) LoL FPS (CoD, Halo, Battlefield, Counter-Strike, etc.) WoW Diablo Etc
You must also love to write and possess excellent writing skills, as well as a strong background in HTML and photo-editing software. Great communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the resilience to work well in a team are strongly recommended. Don’t be shy to call for backup if you are stuck behind enemy fire –or— if you need help from your teammates when it comes to business decisions and opportunities. We rise as a team and fall as a team. Our scope is locked on top ecommerce and retailer players in our business.

Marketing or merchandising experience is required, but it’s equally important that you can efficiently crunch numbers and understand market trends. Creativity is a must.
If you have an eye for product placements and enjoy challenges, this is a great place for you to start.This position requires someone who is proficient in business mathematics, Microsoft Office software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical knowledge (ability to pick up new systems quickly). E-commerce or retail merchandising experience is a plus.
