Not a college student? You still qualify for our audience award, so don’t be shy!

How to enter? It’s simple!

1. Record a short video and show us what you would do with the money you save by shopping at Newegg.

2. Upload to our site OR your YouTube account and post as a response to our featured video at www.youtube.com/newegg.

The Contest is open only to legal residents age 16 or older who are enrolled in a United States college or university at the time of entry in the 47 United States and the District of Columbia (Rhode Island, New York and Florida excluded) (“Entrant”). Legal residents of the 47 United States and the District of Columbia (Rhode Island, New York and Florida excluded), age 16 or older who are not enrolled in a United States college or university at the time of entry will only be eligible to compete for the “Idol (Audience Vote) Prize, as described herein. The Contest begins at 12:01AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on September 15, 2009 and ends at 11:59PM PT on November 15, 2009 ((“Contest Period”). Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on adherence to the stated contest topic and theme, originality, creativity, technical execution and overall appeal except the Idol (Audience Vote) Prize, which will be awarded to the video with the highest rating plus the highest total number of ratings given on YouTube. The winners will be announced on or about November 20, 2009. The potential winners will be notified by the Administrator by telephone (if available), email and by a one-time publication of the names of the winners in the next regularly-scheduled issue of the newegg.com newsletter following the drawing date. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received by the deadline. For additional terms and conditions, please refer to the Official Rules.
