How do I check my coverage? What about a specific address?

Use the XOHM Coverage Tracker to check for XOHM coverage in your area or even at a specific address.

All you need to do is enter an address to view coverage for any XOHM ready device.

How do I contact XOHM Care?

You have a number of options to contact XOHM Care:

  • Send us an online service request

How do I check the status of an order?

You can check your order status by entering your order number in the Track Your Order tool. If you are already a XOHM member, you can check your order status in the order history section of your Account. You can also see a completed history of all your XOHM orders.

How do I change my password?

You must login to change your password. You will be asked to enter your current password or secret question answer and a new password. If you don't remember your current password or secret question answer, please contact XOHM Care to reset it. Once the change is complete, you will receive an email to confirm it.

How do I know when I will be billed each month?

Your bill cycle will end on the same day each month and your credit card will be charged within a few days of this date.

To see when your bill will close each month, log in to your account and go to billing history. Your bill close date will be listed at the top of the billing history page.

I forgot my username, what do I do?

On the login screen, click the Forgot Username link. Enter your contact email, click "Next". An email will be sent to your contact email containing all usernames associated with that email address.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Create a new password, by following these steps:

  1. On the login screen, click the Forgot Password link.
  2. Enter your username, click "Next".
  3. Enter the answer to your secret question, the image challenge text and click next.
  4. You'll be prompted to create a new password.

How secure is the XOHM WiMAX connection?

The XOHM Network uses the WiMAX (802.16) standard and supports leading edge encryption and authentication standards, along with best in class network monitoring and management systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability while on XOHM Network.

What factors may affect XOHM coverage?

Our coverage maps provide estimates of our coverage areas when using your device under optimal conditions. Coverage isn't available everywhere. Estimating WiMAX coverage and signal strength isn't an exact science.

There are gaps in coverage within our estimated coverage areas that, along with other factors both within and beyond our control (network problems, software, signal strength, your wireless device, structures, buildings, weather, geography, topography, etc.), may result in dropped and blocked connections, slower data speeds or otherwise impact the quality of services.

Estimates of future coverage areas are subject to change.

How fast is XOHM compared to basic Cable and DSL?

XOHM is expected to provide average connection speeds comparable to or better than basic DSL and Cable internet service. Comparison based on 786 Kbps download speeds for DSL and 1.5 Mbps download speeds for Cable. Connection speeds may be impacted by different external factors such as network traffic and congestion.

Once I receive my XOHM products, what do I need to do to activate XOHM service?

The first steps to activate XOHM service are to:

  1. Install any necessary software
  2. Connect to the XOHM Network

You will then be able to subscribe to the service option that is right for you and activate service. Follow the specific instructions included with the product packaging.

How do I interpret the XOHM WiMAX signal strength indicator (i.e. bull's eye) in XOHM Connection Manager?
  • Green icon: the XOHM Network is available
  • Grey icon: the XOHM Network is not available
  • bull's eye: the number of rings represent signal strength
How do I receive the strongest signal possible on my modem?

Use the signal strength LEDs on the modem to find the room or location with the strongest signal. You can also use the Test Signal Strength functionality on your Modem Setup Assistant software that comes on a CD in the modem box.

Can my XOHM signal strength vary, even if I'm in one location?

Interference due to materials between the cell tower and the device, including buildings and trees, could cause the signal to be weak in specific areas, even within the coverage area.
